Our Sherry Oloroso /PX Hogshead comes from an esteemed Tonelería in Jerez, Spain, a region celebrated for producing top-quality sherry wine and casks. The profound influence of these barrels on the whisky's character is a testament to the craftsmanship and heritage of Jerez's coopers.
EX-BOURBON
OCTAVE
Completing the trio is the American Bourbon Octave, a 56-liter barrel previously used for aging Bourbon. These smaller barrels, made from American oak, impart classic vanilla and caramel notes to the whisky. The smaller size of the Octave accelerates the maturation process, ideal for a shorter aging period of 3-5 years. The Bourbon Octave is perfect for those who appreciate the distinctive influence of American oak and a more neutral flavour profile.
